Tips and Tools for Inclusive Conversations
The challenges being faced at the Ohio Department of Public Safety, are not unusual. These include: Lack of and missed communication, silos and silo thinking, team conflict and difficult relationships, change and transition. The Public Safety, Learning and Development unit continues to search for, experiment with, create and introduce a range of tools and processes to strengthen a culture in which important ideas are shared and voices (even quiet ones) can be heard. During our time together, we’ll share some of these resources and how we’re using them. This session will be a success if you come away with some practical ideas that help strengthen safe space and a culture of inclusion in your organization. It’ll be phenomenally successful if we continue to learn from and share with each other beyond this session.
