Start your morning with this fun learning session! Connect with the larger OD community, meet Central Ohio business leaders, and sharpen your learning edge.
Organizations are commonly facing challenges including poor collaboration, break-downs in trust, and disengagement from employees. A common action is to look to solve these challenges through training - an encouragement or requirement to shift behavior of the individuals potentially causing the problems. We are left baffled and frustrated when the training doesn’t ‘stick’ and behaviors revert. During this morning CCODN event, Lisa Beaty and Elyse Wampler from OCLC’s Organization Development and Learning team, will share what OCLC is doing to enable behavior change through a shift in mindset resulting in the emergence of new behaviors having an impact of trust, collaboration, accountability and culture shift. We will discuss how we are incorporating the work of the Arbinger Institute’s Developing and Implementing and Outward Mindset, Outward Leadership, and Spot Coaching with Hudson Institute. A book will be provided by The Arbinger Institute!
