What do General Electric, The University of Michigan, Development Dimensions International (DDI), and The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) have in common?  In 2014, HR.Com and Leadership Excellence Magazine teamed to evaluate over 1,200 leadership development programs submitted world-wide, to identify top 3 best practices within a handful of industry groups.   Each of these organizations has a program that was awarded this honor.

We are pleased to have David Sapper of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services join us to lead an engaging discussion about the innovative design and impact measures that led to ODJFS’s recognition.  David  will share some of his own Hero’s Journey in creating an action learning approach that ODJFS’ Leadership Challenge participants often compare to reality television’s The Apprentice, The Amazing Race and Shark Tank.   CCODN members will also learn how David incorporates the work of Joseph Campbell (The Hero’s Journey), Maureen Metcalf www.metcalf-associates.com, and Jeffrey and Laurie Ford http://laurieford.com/four-conversations-book/into this OD and leadership development program.
